Andreea Ciocîrlan a.k.a. Ciocȃrlica, is an illustrator, visual artist and interior architect based in Bucharest, Romania.

Her artistic journey revolves around capturing snapshots of the objects that surround us in a distinctive and captivating way. Using bold and vibrant colours, along with playful patterns inspired by 90’s-2000’s cartoons, anime and comic books, she brings these everyday items to life in her illustrations.
Like capturing a candid photograph of a cherished memory, her illustrations freeze these instances in time. Through her art, she aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia and whimsy, inviting viewers to rekindle their connection with the extraordinary within the ordinary.

She is currently open for freelance projects, commissions and collaborations and well as taking on interior design projects alongside her best friend (check out their interior design office Pinacoteca de Design)
